In most team-based organizations, it is necessary for managers to build coalitions among diverse groups of employees, customers, suppliers and other stakeholders. One of the most formidable challenges in maintaining relationships among these groups is dealing with conflict in an effective and outcome-oriented way. Throughout this course, students will learn the necessary skills to approach conflict in a way that produces beneficial results for the individual stakeholders and the organizations involved. Prerequisite: MGT231.
