This course examines elementary physical education programs based on fundamental locomotor, nonmanipulative, and manipluative skill themes. The study and discussion of elementary curriculum, teaching methodologies, unit and lesson planning, motivational, management, and discipline techniques will be included. Three lecture hours per week. Course requirements include fifteen hours of field-based experience in elementary physical education classes. Required course in the Elementary Physical Education Concentration. Not open to students who have received credit for SFL321P or SFL321R. Prerequisites: SFL198 or SMS177, and SFL200 or SMS200, and matriculated into the Elementary Physical Education Concentration.
