This course is designed to train acting, directing and design students in the careful analysis of dramatic texts. Emphasis is placed on environmental, character, dialogue, and structural analysis. The interpretation and reflection of literary elements in a theatrical production is studied. Not open to students who have received credits for THE307. Prerequisite: THE101.
