The competencies necessary for effective functioning as an athletic trainer will be examined. Topics include cause, prevention, recognition, care, and reconditioning of athletic injuries/illnesses. Focuses on the physiological and pathological nature of injuries. Three hours per week. Open only to and required of students in the Athletic Training major. Recommended for Freshman year. Not open to students who have received credit for SFL349.
