Through lecture, discussion and laboratory experiences, this course is designed to apply the basic principles of anatomy and physics to exercise and human movement. Emphasis will be placed on anatomical analysis of human performance. Two lecture hours and one two-hour laboratory per week. Required for ATR and SMS majors, except those in the Leisure Studies and Sport Management Concentrations. Not open to students who have received credit for SFL309. Prerequisite: BIO206 or BIO201.
