Examination of U.S. political culture, political socialization, federalism, voting behavior, political parties, interest groups, Congress, the Presidency, and the Supreme Court. Special attention to contemporary research which provides theoretical and methodological frameworks for understanding the U.S. Political system. Three lecture hours per week. Meets American Government requirement for teachers.
