Introduction to Computers in Music will provide students with an overview of the hardware and software used in a variety of areas associated with music production. Students will be introduced to MIDI sequencing, Digital Audio Workstations (DAW), educational software and desktop publishing. Basic projects will be created using each technology studied. Three lecture hours per week. Satisfies an elective in the Music minor. Additional lab hours required.
