A continuation of MUS214 MIDI Sequencing I, students will utilize and expand upon their knowledge of MIDI workstations and have the freedom to create within a defined project plan or through the composition of original music. Advanced use of MIDI includes acoustic instrument simulation, layering, advanced synthesizer and effects programming, automation and digital audio processing. Three lecture hours per week. Additional lab work required. Prerequisite: MUS214.
