This course presents the many methods used to study development across the lifespan, including observation, interview, questionnaire, and experiment. Through reading and discussing published research and working on individual research projects, students learn the principles of research design necessary for demonstrating developmental change. Three lecture hours per week. Prerequisites: PSY204R and a course in developmental psychology- PSY218, PSY251, PSY252, PSY322, PSY336, PSY337, or PSY544.
