Students will learn and engage in distinct foreign language methodologies as appropriate to peer-tutoring activities. Weekly seminars, as well as a comprehensive methodology workshop will integrate foreign language teaching theory with practice. Responsibilities include private tutoring in the Foreign Languages Tutoring Center; designing tutorial activities; selecting, organizing and presenting material; evaluating student progress and diagnosing student needs and classroom management techniques. Foreign Language faculty supervise all activities. Three lecture hours per week. Prerequisite: SPN202 or equivalent proficiency as determined by the Foreign Languages Department.
