The course presents a geographic approach to water resource management at various spatial scales. Concepts pertaining to watershed functions as well as water pollution, cost-benefit analysis techniques and both environmental and urban planning considerations will be covered. The course will also use an integrated geographic information system approach to water management. Three lecture hours per week. Concentration elective, B.S. Geography, Environment Concentration. Prerequisite: GGR250P or permission of Department Chairperson.
