This course will emphasize the writing modes specifically used in the natural and social sciences. Writing assignments and in-class discussion of papers will concentrate on the following modes: Case studies, reports, recording observations, report findings, laboratory reports, review papers as well as research sources and papers designed from topics in these fields. Three lecture hours per week. Prerequisite: ENG102.
