This course will examine both the management and creative processes of communication techniques and issues in advertising. Discussed will be social, economic and ethical aspects of advertising; the creative processes of copywriting, of art and print design, and of broadcast advertising; and specialized applications in business, education, and politics. Three lecture hours per week. Limited to Communications majors and minors. Prerequisites: COM202, COM205.
