This course will cover quantum theory; molecular and atomic structure; vibrational, rotational and electronic spectroscopy, nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy and statistical mechanics. Three lecture hours and one three hour laboratory per week. Not open to students who have received credit for CHE332. Prerequisites: CHE231, MAT221, PHS212A or PHS222.
