Focuses on assessment, promotion of mental health, and care of the person with variances in mental health. Use of therapeutic communication and the nurse-client relationship are emphasized. Two hours lecture, six hours of clinical per week. Prerequisites: Nurs 305, Nurs 310, and Nurs 320 with a minimum grade of 'C', and concurrent withNurs 350 and Nurs 370.
