Aspects of human development from conception to adolescence are examined, including, physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development. Emphasis is given to theoretical frameworks and their practical implications. Cross-cultural comparisons are included wherever appropriate. Prerequisite: Psy 100 with a grade of 'C' or above. Onehour credit will be given toward the total number of hours toward graduation if Psy 300 or Psy 301 have been completed.
