The course details the use of computer-assisted cartography in analytic choropleth map development including spatial data selection and analysis, coordinate transformation, areal and Boolean map analysis, and digital choropleth map comparison. Three lecture hours per week. Required of B.S. Cartography majors; Elective for others. Prerequisite: GGR240 or GGR241 or permission of Department Chairperson.
