GRED 571 -- @Science Education Instruction in Secondary Schools (3) This course begins with an introduction to the national science education teaching and assessment standards for junior high and high school. Topics include cooperative learning in the science classroom, student-centered learning environments, project-based teaching, and assessment of science knowledge and skills. Students will apply their knowledge to strategies of instruction as they teach the science unit that they develop in GRED 672. Prerequisite: GRED 672. Fall only. MST only.
