SECD 372 -- @Science Instruction and Assessment: Grades 5-12 (3) This course is designed to enable future teachers to examine their own beliefs about science, learning, and teaching, as well as to develop understanding of the tenets upon which the National Science Education Standards and National Science Teacher Association Teacher Preparation Standards are based. The course will focus on standards for eaching and assessment in grades 5-8 and 9-12. Students will use technology in support of active learning throughout this course. Fall only.
