ARTS 330 -- Painting II (4) Open media painting course. Multiple approaches, both abstract and representational, are explored. Development of personal image vocabulary while refining technical and material skills. Development of intellectual capacity and ability to conceive, initiate and complete original work. Movement towards increasingly complex and mature work. Lectures and slide presentaitons address relevant theoretical, historical and critical concepts. Prerequisite: ARTS 329. Fall and Spring.
