Th e course is an introduction to what it would take to have a career in Musical Th eatre. Included will be a discussion of historical context; a look at the diff erent musical styles developed over time; exploration of scenes, songs and scores from the diff erent genres; and exploration of the unique acting challenges fro the performer in musical theatre. Off ered years when there is not a musical theatre production during J-Term.
