This course is intended to take students to mastery level of algebra. After a review of basic algebra, students extend their understanding of functions and systems of equations. The course then introduces and explores the concepts of sequences, series, permutations, and combinations. A primary outcome is to demonstrate the application of algebra in the areas of business, science, and other disciplines. Prerequisite: MTH 111 or equivalent, or permission of instructor. Meets LAC outcome: LLD2. 3 crs.
