Students engage in experiential learning through observing professional music therapists working in a variety of sites in the community and with a variety of client populations. One hour of weekly seminar included. Discussion topics focus on understanding and experiencing special needs populations, developing observation skills, and an introduction to ethics. Prerequisite: completion of or concurrent enrollment in MT 200. Music therapy majors only. 1 cr.
