This course examines the phenomena of social behavior and the psychological experience of individuals in social contexts. Special attention is given to the formation of attitudes, values, and beliefs, as well as to the ways social groups and societal structures influence individual behavior. Prerequisite: PSY 201 or equivalent. This course is an option for the required Sociocultural Issues area for Psychology majors. Meets LAC outcome: HCC2. 3 crs.
