This course will look at health, well-being, health-related problems, change in appearance, nutrition, relationships with partners, family and friends, and exercise. Students will look at senior mental health and chemical dependency, looking at life transitions, causes of mental illness, types of mental health problems, dementia, and creative treatment and programmatic approaches. They will also look at life options that can positively affect older person's health wellbeing. Meets LAC outcome: HCC4. 3 crs.
