The main goal of this course is for students to understand how persons make and remake themselves and their social world through their everyday interactions with one another. Students will examine the impact that social processes have on individuals, their families, and their communities, and the social boundaries and constraints within which behavior takes place. Topics include socialization and social reality, urban relations, friendship and love, health and illness, among others. LAC outcome: HCC1. 3 crs.
