This course introduces and develops guitar skills for use in the music therapy clinic. Skills include technique fundamentals, music reading, chordal accompaniment (with I, IV, V chords) in several keys with a variety of strumming and picking techniques, beginning improvisation, and performance of a basic repertoire of traditional, folk, and popular songs. 2 crs.
