Topics include the nature of consciousness, intelligence, emotion, stress, motivation, personality, and development, as well as psychological disorders, therapy, and interpersonal issues. This course is prerequisite for many upper-division psychology courses. Required for all Psychology majors. Meets LAC outcome: HCC2. 3 crs.
