Students explore human processes in relationships, considering a range of issues such as dreaming, trust, sexuality, spirituality, emotions, roles, and conflicts. In addition, the connection between physical symptoms and relationship problems, and the ways individual and world systems affect relationships, are examined. Students also explore relationship myths and develop skills for resolving conflicts. Prerequisite: HMS 321. Fulfills Development course requirement for Human Studies majors. Meets LAC outcome: HCC6. 3 crs.
