In this interdisciplinary course, students examine eighteenthcentury literature in relation to social and historical texts and contexts. Examples of special topics for a particular term include home and domesticity; enlightenment religious and philosophical belief systems; or empire and colonialism. Meets LAC outcomes: AIB4, HCD5.
