In this course, students learn traditional skills of agenda setting, facilitation, and follow-up in a class focused on effective ways to organize and run a successful meeting. They explore how to foster an atmosphere safe for dialogue; manage difficult con- versations on the fly and keep the discussion progressive and productive; honor divergent opinions and leverage diversity of thinking; stay on task, on time, and still make room for fun and serendipity; and care for oneself as a facilitator through lengthy and arduous meetings.
