Training-needs assessment and assessment of training results are two critical elements assuring that training meets the organization's as well as the learners' needs. For each of thesetwo kinds of assessment, these topics are explored: rationale for assessment; planning; gathering data (surveys, interviews, record analysis, and so forth); data/causal analysis; and writing final reports. Prerequisite: CTD 440 recommended. 3 crs.
