Description:
-
Leaving the rigid structure of mechanistic thinking-or reductionism-to crumble, systems theory brings our attention to the interconnected and interdependent patterns that exist in and between all phenomena, living and non-living. This course offers the student an introduction and overview of both systems theory and living systems theory. Cultivating a systems perspective is of fundamental importance across disciplines and career choices. Thus this course is an appropriate choice for all undergraduate students. Meets LAC outcome: HCC7. 3 crs.
