Students learn how culture influences the way we listen and speak to each other and the way we manage conflict. In today's global workplace, cultural differences in values, lifestyles and communication styles can enrich organizations or lead to misunderstandings and conflict. Students examine their own listening, communication and conflict management styles as they develop knowledge and skills to successfully interact with people from different cultural backgrounds.
