SOCI 375 -- Women and Work (3) This course will examine different issues concerning "women's work": biological determination of the division of labor; the origin of women's subordinate role in the workplace; the work experience of women of different classes and races; occupational sex segregation; sexual harassment; the gender gap in wages; and women in the professions.
