3 credits This course is designed to educate students on the mechanisms and understanding of what stress is, its effects on their health and everyday life. To provide students with learning skills and techniques to help one reduce and cope with stress more effectively. To develop an understand ing of the impact that stress has on one's health, both physical and emo tional, and to be able to recognize and practice measures to insure a more healthy lifestyle.
