3 credits This course focuses on a chronological study of Peru's cultural histo ry through literary texts which expose a socio-political synthesis of the country as seen through the works of representative Peruvian writers, from colonial times to the present. Prerequisite: Nine (9) credits in Spanish or demonstrated advanced/intermediate competence in Spanish, equivalent to SPN 2018A or SPN 2016A. Offered: 2008 - 2010.
