3 credits An investigation of various aspects of non-verbal communication, their relationship to verbal communication and their effects on human behavior. Topics will include proxemics, kinesics, eye gaze, facial expression, environmental effects and intercultural practices. This course is designed as a strongly advised discipline elective for Speech and Dramatic Art majors and other qualified students at the junior or senior level.
