1 credit Martial Art of Master Ueshiba, based on the principles of spiritual har mony and non-aggression. The art of self-defense focuses on relaxation and passive power of mind/body Ki (energy) circular techniques, including escapes, throws, and subduing by the use of wrist and elbow bending with numerous body movements. Self protection includes back and forward rolling. Develops self confidence for men and women through lecture, demonstration, and class participation. Students are evaluated Pass/Fail. Offered: 2008 - 2010.
