3 credits Color design and composition will be stressed in this class, exploring direct screen and photo-sensitive techniques of serigraphy. Students will create editions on paper, as well as have the opportunity to print on tex tiles. A sketchbook containing notes on technical and conceptual aspects of the course is required. This course complements VIS 1070A, Textile Design I. Prerequisite: VIS 1003A or permission of the instructor. Offered: 2008 - 2010.
