3 credits A seminar in which students examine and discuss issues in communication, developing research projects, and sharing insights on a broad range of topics concerning oral, dramatic, and mass-mediated communi cation. Issues may include censorship, freedom of speech, propaganda, government regulation, privacy rights, and the representation of diverse cultures in the media and on stage. Prerequisites: Communication Arts major and senior standing; or permission of department coordinator. Offered: 2008 - 2010.
