3 credits This course is designed to improve speaking fluency and listening comprehension in Spanish. Students focus on accuracy in grammar and enunciation, social appropriateness of speech register, and techniques to increase fluency and comprehension. Course objectives comply with cur rent ACTFL guidelines for Intermediate Proficiency in Spoken Spanish. Prerequisite: One year of college Spanish, or Regents Certification in Spanish, or permission of the instructor and Department Coordinator. Offered: 2008 - 2010.
