3 credits Movement education is analyzed, observed, applied, and demonstrat ed as a viable means of interdisciplinary education. Education through and by physical activity is a focal point of the course. Class content includes: accomplishing student needs and objectives, conceptual learn ing of motor skills, teaching and analyzing movement skills, class organi zation and management techniques, safety and liability in the classroom, and meeting needs for special students. Course is geared for grades pre school through grade 8. Offered: 2008 - 2010.
