3 credits *This course is a continuation of NSC 2003C. It examines the natural laws that govern interacting systems, the influence of interacting systems on the environment, the atmosphere, and the sea. Special emphasis is placed on the interaction of humanity with the biosphere, the impact of technology on society, and the role of molecular biology in genetic engi neering, disease, and food production. Prerequisite: NSC 2003C is highly rec ommended. Offered: 2008 - 2010.
