3 credits This course examines development from conception to adolescence, focusing on the biological, cognitive, and social development of the human being during this time period. Particular concern is given to how these different areas of development influence each other, e.g., how social and cognitive development are interdependent. An examination of devel opmental theories and their application to real life settings, e.g., educa tional learning environments, is also included. Prerequisite: PSY 1001A or 1002A.
