3 credits An examination of America in the decades after World War II, focusing primarily on 1945-1968 and emphasizing the presidencies of Harry Truman, Dwight D. Eisenhower, John Kennedy, and Lyndon Johnson. International focus will be the origins of the cold war and applications of containment, including the Korean and Vietnam Wars.
