3 credits This course examines the methods, tools and techniques of financial statement analysis from the users' perspective as associated with investors and creditors. The course emphasizes theoretical and empirical properties of financial ratios, their uses and limitations. International accounting topics will also be discussed along with their effect on a firm's financial statements. Prerequisite: FIN 3087N and FIN 3162N or ACC 3102N or per mission of instructor.
