3 credits Theory and practice are brought together to enable students to manage classrooms effectively, plan for individual needs, and design instructional programs which integrate the seven areas of general knowledge in the State Learning Standards. Students develop competencies associated with new roles for teachers in the 21st century, and demonstrate analytical, critical, and reflective thinking skills as a foundation for continued professional development. Prerequisites: EDU 4113N, EDU 4114N, EDU 4115N, EDU 4149N and a minimum G.P.A. of 2.5. Corequisite: EDU 4197N. Offered: 2008 - 2010.
