3 credits The purpose of this course is to assist students to write about literary texts, including the different aspects of written discourse: drafting ideas, formulating arguments, using evidence, drawing conclusions. Students will learn how to decipher the meaning implied in the texts and respond with careful, critical analysis germane to the discussion of literature. Prerequisite: ENG 1001A. Required for all English majors in the Creative Writing Track. Offered: 2008 - 2010.
