3 credits Provides student with the knowledge and skills to integrate all learning areas in accordance with the Learning Standards. The course reviews the concepts and processes of developmentally appropriate practice and how these can be taught using a variety of methods. Emphasis is placed on the implementation of "hands on Learning" in theclassroom. Particular attention is given to NAEYC and state learning standards to model content, teaching and assessment. Students are also taught how to integrate literacy acquisition and the Learning Standards for introducing content areas. Prerequisites: EDU 3102N, EDU 3160N, EDU 3146N. Corequisites: EDU 4149N, EDU 4161N, EDU 4106N. Offered: 2008 - 2010.
